Who is going?
Meet Wendy

Where are we going?
The journey begins in Paris
We’ll spend two days exploring the city from a perspective that few encounter. During our time in Paris we will stay at the beautiful Hotel Brighton across from the Tuileries Gardens. We will tour have a private art tour, enjoy a dinner cruise on the Seine, and visit one of the city’s first churches – with over 1500 years of history! Each day our experiences will be paired with spiritual teachings and quiet time of reflection and journaling.
Mont St. Michel
From Paris we’ll travel to the world renowned Mont St Michel. We will join the resident monks and nuns of the community for an evening worship service. During the day we will explore the village, monastery, and bay with a local private guide who will share the history of what has made Mont St. Michel one of the most visited pilgrimage sites of Europe since the 9th century.
Bayeux, Normandy
We’ll journey up the Normandy coast for a three-day stay near Bayeux. We will see the incredible Bayeux Tapestry and Cathedral and have time to enjoy this charming city. We will also explore the beaches of Normandy, hearing the untold stories of courageous women that served and assisted with the D-Day landings that led to the Allied victory in France. We’ll return to Paris for our last night, celebrating a life-changing week at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
What is the Difference between “women” and “Sisters” trips?
Life on Pilgrimage offers two series of pilgrimages exclusively for women. The “Women” and “Sisters” trips both offer the same high level of pilgrimage experience with our trademark elements of luxury accommodations, private tours and experiences, and daily Scripture-based spiritual teaching. All of our pilgrimages are focused on helping women grow closer to the Lord. The “Sisters” series of pilgrimages such as Sisters of Joy, are a smaller group of women (max of 8 guests), with a slower paced itinerary. The “Women” series accommodates up to 14 guests.

Spiritual Content
The heart of pilgrimage is to grow closer to God. Christians have gone on pilgrimage as a spiritual practice since the 4th century. Throughout our week together we will explore the theme of the story God is writing in our lives. Wendy Schulz will provide daily faith teaching weaving Scripture, history, and personal application together. From a 4th century shepherdess to 20th century resistance workers, we will meet women of faith whose complex lives were full of heartache and joy, much like us today. We will explore God’s truth in scripture, and make meaningful personal life application connections.
Throughout the week we will have quiet time dedicated to personal reflection and journaling. We will explore ancient spiritual practices of pilgrimage through forms of prayer and worship. Our small group size will create an intimate environment for sharing and processing your journey.
